Overview
MM Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the lesser-visited forest belts in this part of Karnataka, which is part of why it's worth the drive — fewer vehicles, more actual wildlife. Elephant and gaur sightings are common; leopard and tiger are possible but never promised, since nothing in a real forest works on a schedule.
